HERITAGE GIRLS SCHOOL
Saturday Afternoons are devoted to club activities that girls join according to their interests.
These activities provide an opportunity for students to explore new interests, discover their talents, develop confidence and learn skills beyond the traditional classroom.
A part from the regular assembly talks and public speaking competitions, this club devotees it's time to training interested students in group discussions / elocution and debates. Debates are organized at regular intervals.
The Culinary and Embroidery Club provides students with a creative space to develop practical and artistic skills. Through culinary activities, embroidery and other creative projects, students explore their talents while developing patience, precision and creativity. Exhibitions, fairs and collaborative activities offer opportunities to showcase their work and appreciate the value of craftsmanship.
The Photon Club nurtures students' interest in science and technology through interactive workshops, guest lectures and seminars. Members engage in hands-on experiments, build scientific models and participate in science exhibitions, developing curiosity, creativity, practical skills and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.
The Social Service Club at Heritage Girls School encourages students to make a meaningful difference in the community and school environment. Through charity fundraisers, clean-up drives, volunteering, awareness campaigns and collaborations with other clubs, students develop a strong sense of social responsibility. Initiatives such as distributing blankets to support staff and cleaning the Sahastra Bahu Temple reflect their commitment to compassion, cultural heritage and environmental conservation.
The Performing Arts and Theatre Club provides a platform for students to explore dance, music and theatre through recitals, concerts, plays, musicals and skits. Workshops and training sessions help students develop their artistic and performance skills, while rehearsals and collaborative productions foster teamwork, confidence and self-expression. The club enriches the school's cultural environment and nurtures an appreciation for the performing arts.
The school is located strategically near Lake which has regular visits by migratory birds and wildlife. The club also encourages students to focus a discerning eye on the natural beauty of the area the school is based in.
The Photography Club brings together students who are passionate about capturing moments through the lens. Through expert guidance, workshops, contests and collaborative projects, members explore different styles of photography and develop their technical and creative skills. The club encourages students to observe the world from new perspectives and express their creativity through images.
The Library Club fosters a love for reading, literature and lifelong learning. Through book discussions, debates and literary events, students explore diverse genres, authors and ideas. The club helps strengthen language skills, critical thinking and public speaking while encouraging curiosity, imagination and a deeper appreciation for literature.
The AI and Robotics Club provides students with hands-on experience in emerging technologies and encourages innovation. Equipped with 3D printers, Arduino boards, sensors, LEDs, batteries and other components, the lab enables students to build and experiment with automated devices under the guidance of trained faculty. The club develops problem-solving, technical and engineering skills.
The Chess Club develops strategic thinking, concentration and problem-solving skills through regular practice sessions and tournaments. Students learn to analyse positions, develop strategies and make thoughtful decisions while building patience, discipline and confidence. The club also promotes teamwork and a strong sense of community among players.
