We provide our girls with exhaustive training in the techniques of hockey which otherwise is a very tough game for girls. Under the guidance of our Hockey Coach, the girls participate enthusiastically in Inter-House and Inter-School events.

The Fine Arts curriculum at Heritage Girls School offers a studio-based, in-depth education in the creative, intellectual and practical knowledge and skills of sketching and painting.

The focus is on the diverse aspects of the practice, from method, materials and skills acquisition to the development of a personal visual language and an informed critical understanding.

At Heritage , there is no house style or one set of rules. You are encouraged to undertake a personal journey and test the boundaries of painting, finding your own position and context for your work. By fostering this atmosphere of individual exploration, the course creates an environment where discussion, debate and the daily interchange of ideas are commonplace.

Explorations in historical and critical studies equip you with a knowledge of the context and history of painting. Alongside studio-based work, you will develop your understanding of the contemporary art arena and receive professional development to prepare you for life beyond the classroom.
